POLIN®/VOLITEX is the winner of the sheen test
It's long been a well-known fact that the PE brush leaves a matt sheen on the car paint after several washes.
But what happens after several washing cycles with textiles or foamed material? TÜV-Nord decided to investigate.
A comparison of washing materials to increase the sheen on car paint:
Different vehicles were washed with the needle punched nonwoven POLIN®/VOLITEX and the sheen on the roof and bonnet was measured in 5 places.
The textile material POLIN®/VOLITEX is the clear winner.
Assessment by the TÜV-Nord:
When analysing 1,200 measurements after washing there was a substantial increase in sheen from the needle punched nonwoven.
The foamed material showed no increase in the level of sheen.
This means that when choosing a carwash, customers must look at the washing material used.
